FAQ

If Webster Architects holds the copyright, how do I protect myself from my plan being sold on your website?

In order to protect our clients from having their plan sold to a competitor, we have instituted a company policy. This policy prohibits us from selling any new plan developed with a builder client in the Kansas City metropolitan area for five years. It will however be for sale on our website nationally.

Can a builder buy the copyright?

Yes, we can negotiate a fee that would allow you full rights under the copyright laws.

What are the advantages of having a model home designed rather than buying a stock plan?

We highly encourage our builders to develop a new plan unique from their competitors. We are priced to encourage this, so buying a plan and altering it is not always the most economical option.

What if I do not want a plan designed from scratch?

We have hundreds of plans available for sale in our home gallery.
